Peer-Review Policy
The International Journal of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (IJPLS) (ISSN: 0976-7126) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. The journal’s Peer-Review Policy ensures that all manuscripts are evaluated with integrity, fairness, and transparency, in accordance with international best practices and the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submissions to IJPLS undergo a double-blind peer-review process, in which both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept strictly confidential to ensure unbiased evaluation. Manuscripts are first screened by the editorial board to confirm their relevance, originality, and adherence to ethical and scientific standards. Those meeting these criteria are then assigned to qualified reviewers who possess relevant expertise in the subject area.
Reviewers are expected to conduct evaluations objectively and confidentially, providing constructive feedback that helps authors improve the clarity, quality, and validity of their research. They must declare any potential conflicts of interest, refrain from using privileged information obtained during the review process for personal or professional advantage, and avoid any form of discrimination or bias based on gender, ethnicity, institutional affiliation, or nationality.
Editors are responsible for ensuring that the review process remains fair, transparent, and free from any external influence. Decisions on manuscripts—acceptance, revision, or rejection—are made solely based on scholarly merit and the reviewers’ recommendations. The editorial team ensures that all communications and records related to peer review are handled confidentially and securely.
