Licensing, Copyright, and Author Self-Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (IJPLS) (ISSN: 0976-7126) is committed to upholding the principles of open access, ensuring that research outputs are freely accessible and reusable in accordance with international publishing ethics and standards. The journal’s policies on licensing, copyright, and self-archiving are designed to protect authors’ rights while promoting the widest possible dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Licensing Policy
All articles published in the International Journal of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (IJPLS) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Under this license, readers and third parties are free to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any format.
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
This open licensing model ensures maximum visibility and impact of the authors’ research while maintaining proper attribution to the original source.
Copyright Policy
Authors retain full copyright of their published works. Upon acceptance, authors grant IJPLS a non-exclusive right to publish, archive, and disseminate the article in print and electronic formats. This arrangement allows authors to maintain ownership of their intellectual property while enabling the journal to distribute and promote their work globally.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material (e.g., figures, tables, or images) from other publications included in their manuscripts.
Author Self-Archiving Policy
IJPLS fully supports author self-archiving as part of its commitment to open science. Authors are permitted to deposit any version of their manuscript in institutional or subject repositories, including:
- Preprint version (before peer review),
- Accepted manuscript (after peer review, before typesetting), and
- Published version (final PDF as it appears on the IJPLS website).
Self-archived versions should include a proper citation to the final published article and a link to the journal’s official webpage. There are no embargo periods for self-archiving.
Through these policies, the International Journal of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (IJPLS) ensures the protection of authors’ rights, enhances the accessibility and longevity of published research, and fosters the principles of openness, transparency, and scholarly collaboration across the global research community.
