Physico-chemical characterstics of khajana and darmasagar lakes, in Adilabad, AndhraPradesh, India

Abstract

The present study deals with the physico-chemical parameters of Khajana and Darmasagar lakes  of  Adilabad  district,  Andhra Pradesh  during  the   period  of  2009 (September)  to 2010 (August). The parameters studied comprised temperature, pH, total hardness, total dissolved solid, dissolved   oxygen, chemical oxygen demand, biological oxygen demand and total alkalinity.
